How do I avoid "warning: page has expired..."

I am using sessions and on those pages that require verification before granitng access, I get this message when I try to use the explorers back button.
"Warning, Page has expired... To resubmit your information and view this page use the refresh button".
How do I avoid this without removing the security checks?

open your php.ini file and edit the ' session.cache_limiter' setting to read:
session.cache_limiter = private, must-revalidate

that should do it. 🙂

try putting this in, after using session start
header("Cache-control: private");

i.e.
session_start();
header("Cache-control: private");
