update and timestamp

i have a table in mysql dtb.

i would like to update some fields of this table with a query

but the timestamp field updates automatically at the date i make the query....

but i'd like to mantain the old value of the timestamp ... just want to update another field without changing timestamp field....

Hi,

assuming that your timestamp field is something like dtmTimestamp:

UPDATE tblTest SET fielda='test', dtmTimestamp=dtmTimestamp, .... WHERE ....
