Problem with variable

Hi - when the mysql query inserts $link into the table it doesn't replace $id with the correct number. I can see why but I can't find a way around it. Any ideas?

$link = 'sections.php?id=$id';

Hi - thanks for that... and one last thing..

header("location: $siteurl index.php");

How could I do it with that?

$siteurl is the variable and index.php is the page it needs to goto, so:

$siteurl = http://localhost/ssi/

$siteurlindex.php since $siteurl already has a slash.
