simple email link fouling up

Can anyone tell me where I'm going wrong. I trying to build a simple email link as follows:

Get in touch at <?php echo '<a href="mailto:'.$adminEmail.' ">'.$adminEmail.'</a>';?>.

However, the output is absolutely fouled up 🙁

Get in touch at '.me@mydomain.co.uk.'';?>.

Thanks for any pointers.

I haven't been able to get the code to work. However, is it because the code appears in a textarea (sorry, forgot to mention that) or shouldn't this make any difference?

When I tried your suggested code, the output reproduced it exactly instead of interpreting it as php...

Hey, as far as I have known you can't put HTML inside a <textarea> because it'll only display as regular text.

However if you use CSS layers and the overflow property you could make a box which looks exactly the same as a textarea. But it is very much, not the same.

mzanimephp, is very correct, whatever you put in a textarea, will be interpreted exactly as you have it, html, or not, you may want to figure out another way to do what you want, maybe post your code and us EXPERTS can help you on your problem
