Over the last couple of years I've been forced to pay as much as 10 dollars a month for a decent host with php, mysql and decent support...

I was really wondering what everyone else has been paying for decent php hosting and where?

I recently found what so far seems to be a really good host with great support and php/mysql for 5 dollars a month. They have been really helpful with whatever I have needed. I'm not sure what the general thought is but do you guys expect good support at 5 dollars a month?

    At the moment i dont pay. So i guess i cant help to much there.

    Some advice that ive been given is:

    Look at hosted sites
    Compare similar hosting features in the same price range.
    Talk with the host a little.

    But also then again. You get what you pay for.
