[Resolved] starring out passwords

i've been trying to figure this out, but i just can't. how do you visually replace every
character in a text input to a "" without damaging the data? how do you do it at
all? a good example is this site: when you log in, your pass word looks like *******

anyone know how to do this? 😕

this is actually an html question, but you make the input type set to password rather than text

<input type="password" name="pass">

rather than

<input type="text" name="pass">
