few guldelines needed

Hi!

I am new to php and so far it doesn't look so complicated. I want to make a database which will run on mysql on the web server. I have allready made all the html pages, forms and now I'll need some help. First this will be a user auth database whit a administrator who can add, remove, change permmisions for all users and also to change input to all data. Users will be able to look all data, add new data and change/delete only their own entries. I would also like to make search possibility thru database and printout of records.
Can you give me some guidelines how to make all of this ?

One suggestion, don't try to do everything at once. Pick a couple of fairly simple capabilities. Get familiar with what php and what a database can do. Play around with a couple of different designs. Then you'll probably want to throw everything you've done away and rewrite it all. Otherwise you'll end up with a bunch of code that looks like it was written be a beginner (because it was)
