I have a protected folder using .htaccess and .htpassword

I would like to know how can I get the member username after he is logged in ?

Try the REMOTE_USER variable generated by the apache server. ( I think its $_SERVER['REMOTE_USER '])

oops serves me right for not looking far enough down the info page. Jerdo's right it is $_SERVER['PHP_AUTH_USER'] not REMOTE_USER like I said.
