Never done anything in pHP..Help

Hey, for years now ive known the capabilities of PHP. Ive never been capable of learning it or figuring anythin out. Somone recomended this site to me so i hope somone can help me. I know you can make forums and User validations and guestbooks and stuff but i cant seem to find where to start or know what to do... help me plz. Thanks

It's on webmonkey. There ARE some issues in there with the register globals settings, but apart from that, it's very good 🙂
