Quotes and Forms

Hi, I'm somewhat new to PHP, so I hope this question hasn't been asked too many times before on this list.
I’ve created an online email form using PHP (http://www.bluedotwalking.com/html/contact.php). I only have one issue: if the user submits an email that uses quotation marks or apostrophes it shows up with a slash mark before it in an email. E.g. here's the \"message\"!

Is this a common problem? Is there a solution?
Please help ASAP!

you want to use strip_slashes();

here's how to use it.

stripslashes($string);

strip_slashes(); is actually stripslashes();
