Java problems. :(

I have recently downloaded Java VM, and installed it on IE 6.0 SP1. The java doesn't seem to work. I have been in the advance options in Internet options and ticked all 3 boxes.

Any JAVA script I try and view shows the picture symbol with the cross in the corner.

I feel for ya... unfortunately, I don't know enough about Java to help. Perhaps you would have better luck asking your Java question here...

Umm... javascript isn't Java. The Java VM runs Java applets... the browser runs javascript. Big difference. Huge difference. The only thing they have in common is they both have "java" in their name... and they both share some C syntax (which a bunch of languages all have in common).

Huh? I think you're confused. That sounds like a broken image to me.
