Seaching a directory for an image name

Hiya,

I have a directory with a number of images inside it (300+). Is there anyway i can create a search tool to search for images inside that directory.

i.e. say i had an image called amazingcar.jpg, i could search for "amazingcar" and the results of the search will return the image amazingcar.jpg.

Use [man]readdir[/man] and test if filenames contain what you are searching for.
