Hello and good day sir :rolleyes:

I am having troubles to understand php 😕

I know this:

<?php

echo "Hello World";

But when it comes to Operator Precedence in the manual then my eyes get silly and my brain pops in all direction's! For the first I do not understand how they work I know I need to control them into some direction but don't understand when I need them I suppose
I need them often to create something I want to create with PHP!

Like example taken from the manual:

$a = 5;
$a += 10; // $a is now 15
$a -= 3; // $a is now 12

It would help if you can write down small script that has this in so
i'll be able to see what is going on and maybe get my eyes will get
normal again and my brain stops popping around like silly rose :eek:

I think I need to learn how to build the control structure. I love to
have the power and control in my hands its pure and true beauty.

I could always make life simple and marry one PHP Programmer but that is not love but if you might teach me it could be LOVE :p

Well if you dont exactly know what you want, its hard to teach PHP....

If you want to learn PHP, I suggest you use google to search for some PHP sites which contain tutorials, im sure something is in there what catches your attention.

well guys thank you very much for your replies I've been trying to read the manual, been doing some tutorials but still don't understand how php works I mean how I can build codes like my own guestbook I dont want to copy others works thats not me. I
have read and read and read but its always just showing parts and more parts not the whole code or how it function in the php.net manual for example

One guy went into remote assitance with me and guess what happened he was trying to look for photoshop he thought PHP was photoshop and he was going to teach me the basics 🙂

More guides would be great to learn from!

That tutorial is good for teaching what the basic PHP symbols & characters mean but it hasn't proved very useful for real-world situations.

I have been reading books I believe the only real book is php.net/manual covers anything you want to learn, explain everything. I feel like a geek saying this but what I need is a teacher who has a free time and is willing to teach me the basics so I understand how PHP code is build up well for guys its much easier for them to wake up in the morning but me need to set up whole set of makeup and find the clothes I feel comfortable in, oh please don't call me an blond i'm a brunette but hey private messages me if you think you can help me out teaching me the basics and maybe show me interesting things cheers and hugs Xotic Anna why Xotic Anna I love the hot sun and having fun :p
