Dynamic Drop Down

I have a database that is full of individual checks and each check has the name with in the record. What I want to do is populate a dropdown box based upon all the names in the name column. Here's the trick I only want the name to show up once and then when the user selects a name it filters the recordset by the name of the individual.

Here is some practice data from my table.

I only want the dropdown box to have these values:
Biran Jones
