database backup

i am using mysql database with php.how can i take backup of databse on regular interval automatically.

install phpMyAdmin

You can cron up a job to run the mysql dump program every night or what not.

If you're not familiar with cron, try man cron.

If you're on windows, look into wincron (do a google search, it should pop right up).
