Upload Help!

I have upload functions on my server and have created a couple of upload scripts in the past. I took a bit of code from a previous script and when put into a different page, doesn't work. The error:

Warning: getimagesize: Unable to open 'C:\Documents and Settings\lyh.luke\Desktop\brandsum v.dL76.jpg' for reading. in /var/www/html/other/forum/forum_editsettings.php on line 19

the file exists and the code worked previously.

does ANYONE have a clue why it doesn't work now!?

Well its quite obvious that where you were first running the script was probably on your own windows workstation, and where you are trying to run the script now is on a LINUX/UNIX webserver.

If i were you i would check the path to the image you are tryign to open again, and change it to the correct filepath for your server.

As the post above stated check the file path its prolly gonna be something like /var/www/html/other/forum/ now on the new server. Once you do this also make sure to chmod the directory you'll be working with as it seems you are gonna want to be saving that image after your done with it. If the script doesn't have write ability of that directory your gonna get an error once again saying permission denied 🙂
