What is wrong with this code?

Well I am new to php so plese don't laugh

here is the line of code where i want to give some font characterisics

Try this:

echo "<p><font color=\"#CCCCCC\" size=\"2\" face=\"Geneva, Verdana, Georgia\">" . $row[nick] . "   " . $row[wonid] . "   " . $row[mail] . "   " . $row[admin] . "</p></font>";

if you use double quotes inside of double quotes, php thinks the string has
ended and tries to interprete for example #CCCCCC which it can't
cause that's no command

note: text inside ' will not be parsed, echo 'myvar=$var' will not replace $var, while echo "myvar=$var" does

I have a question though I have created a table in html

it is like this

Name--------Wonid--------E-Mail---------Admin

but when I put the code under that line the result is distrubuted clattered like this

Name--------Wonid--------E-Mail---------Admin

jack 342323 [e-mail] yes

marrty 3232323 esadsdsadsa@dssd Yes

is tere a way to do it so it lines up evenly like this

Name--------Wonid-----------E-Mail---------------Admin

jack----------342323 [e-mail]--------yes

marrty -----3232323-- esadsdsadsa@dssd-----Yes

Could it be because you create a completely new table on each row..? Hard to know without your code.

i did it i seperated each field and puted inside the table 🙂

I got last question here is one line of code which shows the email address and it just shows the email adress without making it mailto: (link to open mail program) how can I make it that when the data is retrived from the database it makes it mailto: link?
