Cropping images

Hi
I've started out a litle tool that lets you visually pick out any portion of an image. And make a thumbnail of it.

Tested on Win32/IE 6, MAC OS/IE 5.2 only.

Works well in IE. Only bug I really noticed was that if you moved faster than it can load, it will stop (when changing size, at least).
Doesn't work at all in Opera.

Good idea, though. 🙂

hmm... you should make the crop resize thing start from where the top left corner of what you are cropping is, not the top left corner of the image...

very nice though....

and the cropped area can estend past the bottom right of the screen....

This is an updated version, it contains image_cropping2.php, a GD script that will do the cropping based on the script's output.
image_cropping.php only needed slight editing. All that was changed/added was the position of the PHP definition at the top (for $img), the action and method of the form, and the submit button.
