I know this doesn't quite relate to PHP but I am sure someone in here can help me answer my question. When I enable SSL with my site, often (when a folder is specified only and not a direct page) the browser is returned the folder contents, which of course is a no no. Example: I type in www.mysite.com (don't worry, this is on a corporate intranet) it doesn't return index.php, it shows the folder contents. How do I change this?
so in that directory you have an index file of some sort?
Yes, and it is not loaded, only the folder directory. I can click on it from there, but I really don't want the folder structure visible.
can you turn off Directory Browsing for that folder?
In a show of ignorance... How do I do that?
what kind of server are you running? if your running IIS, then just right click on the folder goto web sharing, and turn off directory browsing, if your using Apache, i dunno, never used it. lol
Sure enough I'm using Apache 2. Anyone know how? I have my Apache book at the office so I'll be sure to take a look on Monday morn.
