Gathering Process Information

Hi guys,

Having a bit of a problem, this maybe a n00b error but i been working on it for ages and at the end of my tether lol

I need to get gather the PID on a linux box so i can kill the process on a specific port ie lsof -i :12204
Ive tried a variety of ways exec system etc etc and tried to gather the array, but i can only either seen to get a return of 1 / 0 or "array"?

help!!! lol

well if you are getting array, you could always do array functions to get the array values, this may or may not help you on your way, but there are many things you can do with arrays, and they are all in the manual, here is one

This is the problem lol.
For user defined arrays, mysql arrays etc its working fine but on the return of an lsof it just dont lol 😕
