Does anyone now of a forum or any articles were I can learn how to host my own files. I want to have my own web server but all the ones I have downloaded only allow me to access my sites on my LAN, and not via the web. Help??
if you have a dynamic IP address you are pretty much SOL as far as I know

if you have a static IP you need to go to who you registered your site with and change your dns servers to the appropriate servers - You might be able to change them to your ISp's name servers and be okay. If the contract you signed allows for hosting if not then I wouldn't know how to name your dns.
