Mass DROPping tables?

Hi,

I'm not a PHP/MySQL programmer but I'd need help with mass dropping tables.

For example I have plenty of tables starting with the name 'gclan_' and I'd need a command like so :

"DROP TABLE gclan_*" (which obviously isn't the correct form 😛)

Is there one?

No, but you could do a 'Show tables' query and, as you you process the results, test the table name and submit 'drop table tablename' query if it fits your criteria.
