Display Image Page

I have a script that allows people to upload images..

What I want to do is have a page so when they click on the username of a particular person it shows the images.

Is there a way to make it actual display the images in the folder I tell it the images are in, instead of just pointing them to the folder and let them see the directory structure of that folder?

if the users are uploading to a directory called images, you can use the following to display the file names:

$dirName = "images";
$handle = opendir($dirName);
  while (false !== ($file = readdir($handle))) { 
        echo "$file"."<br>";
    }
