Service stops for mysql automatically

I installed it, used it ok and everything, then I stopped the service. Came back to the PC, and started the service back up and like 5 seconfds later, it stops by itslef. Rebooted, same thing. So I uninstalled, rebooted, deleed all files, re-installed. Now I get the same exact thing again. I can use it just fine, even with phpmyadmin, until I stop the service for the first time. Once I stop it, I can never get it start back up again, always stops couple seconds later by itself. Then I can reinstall it and be fine again.
Any suggestions? Oh yeah, WinXP, SP1, and the apache web server, mysql server, php, and phpmyadmin are all most current version, just downloaded and installed them all yesterday.

I have read the docs there and was unable to find anything on this, they don't have any where you can post or ask for help unless your a paid member.
