This is not really a PHP query, but it is an install query. I have just installed PostgreSQL & pgMyAdmin onto my windows 2000 server, as I am interested in learning Postgre now I understand MySQL.
Has anyone here had experience of installing the above on windows? I went through the install, and entered a password on the cmd prompt as required, yet when I try to connect to Postgre via pgMyAdmin (using adv_auth) I cannot login. I have tried every possible user/pass combination, and Postgre is running fine (I have specified the NT login within the service so that it starts, but this same login will not work in accessing Postgre)
I cannot seem to find any documentation anywhere on how to retrieve or reset a lost password - unlike MySQL which is so easy!
Any help greatly appreciated.
