[Resolved] Reading Value from Browser Address Box

I am passing data from one page to another.

I can get Page 1 to send this to Page 2 using this: header("Location: SignUp4.php?$password_var");

So it comes in the Browser Address section (on top of the Broswer - below the toolbar) like this:
http://www.5flavors.com/SignUp4.php?secretpassword

My question is...how do I read the contents in the Browser Address into Page 2? ...so that I can use the data (secretpassword).

I need to bring "secretpassword" down into my code (on Page 2) so that I can use it in a SQL statement.

well first of all you have to send the variable like this

SignUp4.php?pwd=$password_var

and you read it on signup4.php like this

pwd = $_GET['pwd'];

You have to define the variable, not just value or the variable name.

domain.com/page.php?var=something

then you can use the $GET[] array to access it. $GET['var']
