quick question

i couldnt find this in the manual or on the forum sorry :/

else if($userid == "0"){ echo "Logged in as $username";}

i want that to be like if $userid higher than 0 echo ...
i thought it was > "0" or < "0" but neither of them worked.

well it is

that is most likely the problem, however, php doesn't care if it is

elseif

else if

straight from the manual

There may be several elseifs within the same if statement. The first elseif expression (if any) that evaluates to TRUE would be executed. In PHP, you can also write 'else if' (in two words) and the behavior would be identical to the one of 'elseif' (in a single word). The syntactic meaning is slightly different (if you're familiar with C, this is the same behavior) but the bottom line is that both would result in exactly the same behavior.

i must have been writing it wrong i used the above > 0 and worked i think i had the 0 in "" thats why thx for ur help.

yes, the quotes surrounding the 0 would treat it as a string, which it isn't. it's an interger, which doesn't need quotes around it. at least thats my understandung of it.........(?)

stolzyboy ,no u got me wrong, i was asking JD^ to post his code so that we could take a look at the program logic not the elseif or else if bit [ which ure right about].
