simple log system - php/sql..

hi,

im doing a simple php/sql sytem that is a log system for students to be able to log certain data to a database

i have the login system done, and the database created and connecting to php ok..- but i need to be able to do the following-

create logs, view logs, edit logs, delete logs etc
(and to view the logs in a nice html table!)

i know this is pretty simple but im new to php so can anybody help me out or give me some scripts that can help me out..
