ASP to PHP!!! Some Questions Pls!

I used to be an ASP developer and decided to have a go to a much said about PHP. From the few links i visited i've noticed that it has much to offer. But as my head is still stuck with ASP i have a few proramming questions i would like to settle out!

The following questions are straight forward ASP syntax which i would like them converted in PHP (with some snippet codes if possible!!hehe)

So here they go:

1) request = ?

2) response = ?

3) redirect = ?

4) Session("variable") = ?
