Email Href mailto: call on PHP post

OK all, yet another newbie question... i have gotten my query pretty much where i want it but i'd like to make the part where i post the email address actually call it up with a mailto: field so that the user can just click on the email address using the mailto: option...

it seems to work and it is hyperlinked but it just calls up "mailto:" and no email address...

here is the code:

Any ideas? I know it's pretty simple but have tried calling a few different tries...

You forgot to echo the variable 🙂

As well instead of useing echo you could use a =

<?=$row['email'] ?>

I have noticed this seems to do the same thing.

From PHP: echo -Manual

echo() also has a shortcut syntax, where you can immediately follow the opening tag with an equals sign.

Note: This short syntax only works with the short_open_tag configuration setting enabled.
