I've been asked to build a small site which needs to be able to handle 'tar' files ... opening them and displaying their contents essentially ... NOT building them.
I've have noticed that PHP seems to have been used for this purpose but it's difficult to search the web for info because all the searches return results for example, PHP source code files.
Does anybody know where I can find out about this?
