PHP Navigation/ includes

Hi I want to make one page with various links to different sections in my site, but i would like to use includes or something similar to populate different areas of my page with the specific info for that section, ie reload the same page but with different information. The buttons for the 4 main sections are images, is there a way of telling the page to reload and with what information using the image buttons?

yeah you could pass a variable like

yourdomain.com/page.php?page=pagenamehere

and then on page.php

if page == choice1

//do the code here

elseif

and so on and so on
