problems with variables

I have an page on my site to send an email to a the host, but if there is an error (ie the user didnt ener there email address) a new window pops up and tells them. they're then returned to the previous page, to send the mail again.

Ive got it so far so that when ur returned to the page the users email and subject is retained and shows, but the actual content doesn't show any more than the first letter.

I pass the variables from the first to second page using the form, and from the second back using the address line eg email.php?email=$email&subject=$subject&content=$content

can sumone plz help me out

there is a limit to the size of get vars

so how can i get it onto the next page, it goes to the second page fine. cud i use a cookie?

are u using a textarea for your content ??
to display the content use this
<textarea name=content"><?php print($_GET['content']);?></textarea>

not this

<textarea name=content" value="<?php print($_GET['content']);?>"></textarea>

which i think is what you might have done.
but since u havent posted teh code im not sure
