File Extentions for MySQL

Hi there...

The HD on the server crashed'n'burned, I can recover the data but I need all the file extentions, I think they are .MYD and .MYI, but are they any others at all?

Also are there any guides as to setting up a MySQL Server? Im running Xitami, don't have a clue what Shell even is. I just wanna be able to test it out on like a PHPMyAdmin interface.

For your last question, I read about an app called foxserv on sourceforge.net that basically installs apache/mysql/php all in one shot. I've never tested it though, and someone can probably elaborate on it.
