Login Script On 2 Different Domains

Hello,

I have 2 different websites each on a different domain(server) now i want to make a login script that the users are logged in on both sites like if the users logged in via site1 he also logged in on site 2. Is something possible with PHP?

what you could do is check for the existense of the session var or the cookie var on some page and if taht exists then you should be okay - I don't know the domain limitations on this but it might work.

I know that cookies are meant to only be read by one domain and one domain only however I am not to sure about sessions.

My understanding of sessions are that sessions vars are created by the serve so they would probably not be able to be read or interpreted by another server.

Maybe try including a security funciton from one server on to each page and have that server set and read the cookies for both sites?
