Copy trouble.....

I have had big trouble with my copy() function.

The thin is that it works brilliant at my local server but when I put it out on a non-local server it comes with this:

Warning: copy(../photos/album/phone_models_8910.jpg) [function.copy]: failed to create stream: Permission denied in /mnt/blackhole/webs/linuskautar.is/admin/main.php on line 552

what is this?? I have all the permissions ok on this server but still it does not work.....

any ideas anybody??

Hi,

this definitively seems to be a permission problem. First of all I would try to set the paths to absolute paths (no ..) to ensure that php uses the path we expect. Second you've to ensure that the source and the target directory have the right permissions. The apache user needs to have write rights on the target directory.

What are the permissions on the directories ?
