Merge pictures

Hello

Is it a way to add a little picture (like a copyright) at the top of another picture (gif or jpg ) with php and GD ?

I would like to do that to prevent malicious webmaster to copy my pictures without prevent me etc

Not with .gif (legal reasons), but you should be using .png instead. [man]imagecopymerge[/man]

The patents are owned by Unisys; the primary US patent expires next month (unless it's extended by modification, and this doesn't affect patents in other countries).

But who cares? PNGs are better anyway. Gifs should have been dead and buried years ago.

yeah but if your dealing with user submitted images for galleries and such, it sux cause you can't alter these whatsoever. so youd have to make it so that only .png and jpg are accepted. catch my drift?
