mysql decimal problem

Hello I have a database with a field as a double, but for some reason if the number is smaller than 0.00001 it becomes a scientific notation number.

Has anyone else encountered this and is there any fix to the problem?

Hello, thanks that helped for determining what I need to do.

I came up with this solution:

DOUBLE[(M,D)]

I need to add that beside my double. The M is the display width and D is the number of decimals.

However, I cannot figure out where to place those values in my phpmyadmin.

Can anyone tell me how to do that?
