Table problem

I keep getting an error making this table. Something wrong with the timestamp field. Any idea ?

CREATE TABLE news (
   id smallint(5) unsigned NOT NULL auto_increment,
   headline text NOT NULL,
   story text NOT NULL,
   name varchar(255),
   email varchar(255),
   timestamp datetime DEFAULT '0000-00-00 00:00:00' NOT NULL,
   PRIMARY KEY (id)
);

i just ran the query directly in my database and it worked fine .. what error are you getting ?

could u post the actual php code line of your query ?
is it like $query = " something ....";

EDIT : just noticed something. where is the CREATE table syntax in your code 😕

before i q anything i need to get the table in. I cant get this table in.

Cant really q anything without the table.

how and where are you creating the table ? cause i cant see the create table syntax in the code. do you create it directly in the database ??

Yes i was creating the table right in phpadmin. But I am getting
errors creating it....

well i havent used phpadmin but i think its the fact that ' is getting converted to \ ' .

I am not understanding your last posting. I think the ad.php is ok.

My problem is putting in the table. I keeping an error creating the table.
