mssql to mysql

what is the best/easiest way to export data from a ms sql database and import into a mysql database. i am only doing this one time and it has to be done without connecting the two databases. so basically, what file format should ms sql create that can be used to populate a mysql db.

i am sorry if this has appeared other places, i searched the forum and could not find this exact question/answer.

Hi,

you could export the data as cvs and import it into mysql by using a "LOAD DATA INFILE" query.
