auto increase variable names

hi 🙂

new to the site, so i appologise if this has been covered before . .

i have a form in which users select how many dates an event is running for. when this is submitted, the page creates a form depending on how many dates they have selected.

my problem is that i need to have a variable name such as $date1, $date2 etc. How can i create the same number of vairable names as the user requires?

You can read about variable variables in the manual here(us2 mirror).
If $n is an array containing all the numbers:
for ($i=0;$i<count($n);$i++) {
$date{$n} = $n;
}
