Fix Webpage in same Screen Position

I design such as 2 pages. When click the menu (say login)
on the main page, I want the login page displyed on the same
screen position with same size , ( instead of shows a new windowed displayed on the top of the main page), is there any way to control this?

Something like "target=_self" in html ?

You have to use javascript.

Either Popopen a new window on the same spot , using the width/height/top/left properties.
OR
Create a layer with the same coordinates , make it invisible, and use the onclick event to display it.

This said, you might get different results depending on the browser, user resolution, and whether Javascript is enabled.
