unloading included files

hi,

a short question:

is it possible to somehow unload files that have been included?
or is there some other way to get some constants/variables from a file and then close it before opening another file?

constants with the same name don't like to be called twice...

No, but if your constants have different values at different points in the script then they're not constant, are they? 🙂

If you're having trouble with the same include files being loaded multiple times, use include_once() instead.

well infact they are constants. i want to include different language files in one php file. every word is defined as a constant (since i usually only have to load one file and for other reasons).

this is for an email notification system where every user gets an email in his/er prefered language. but since i go through all the users in a for loop i have to include different lang files over and over again. the php starts giving me errors because each constant has to have a unique name.

oh well, it seems that i have to send all the emails out in the default language....
