Previous/Next buttons for a query. I was wondering how to expand on this, so that it behaves similar to vBulletin in the sense that if there are like 50 pages, it only shows the first few, then allows you to skip to the last page.

Does anyone know how to accomplish this?

Haven't done it myself, but I assume you code something which will take the offset of the current page, substract a certain number (2, 03 three) and then makes links to each page, from the 2, or 3 less then offset, up and untill 2 or three more then offset. First is off course a link to offset=0 and last is a link to offset=numberofpages.
