Text from a form

Hi,

I have a following problem with a text as a output from a HTML form. The text may be like 60 words, but when I print it on the next page it will be written out as one LOOONG line. The page seems really fu***d up!

Could it be done better? Of course! But how? I would like the output from php's echo or print command to be not i one long line.

Anyone?

Is it going to HTML? Have a look at nl2br().

Normally it would be enought, but is a person writes long sentences the newline detected will be further apart and the text will be very long.

It would be great with a function like nl2br, but the <br> should be inserted every 10 word or something like that. I can't find anything like that in php.

OK, in the newer HTML definitions there is some code for automagically handling this. Hold the phone...

...but nothing seems to work. I sending the $textoutput from the HTML form and try to print it with:

print("$annonstext");
?>

Easy? Yeh...I thougt that too, but If I use an enter (new line) in the form when I write, the php-code will just show me the lines until the enter. After that it doesn't show the written text.
It sucks!

...I tried the wrapping command and as I understood it is used when you want something prewritten in the box and having nothing to do with the output.

I tried, and the output is unfurtanetely the same. I really appriciate your help this late.

Try using nl2br() on wordwrap().

Well it works perfectly for the moment. Thanks for the help.
Still one problem remains.
If I write:

"Hi, I would reaaly like to ha a banana."

The php-output will be the whole sentence, but if I write:

"Hi,
I would reaaly like to ha a banana."

The php-output is just "Hi," and nothing more. I thing there is a problem with the enter made just after "," when writing in the form. have you ever seen a error like this?
