Single quotes!

Hi there!

I need sme help with single quotes in PHP... like i'm doing a search with a textbox, and when i enter a word with single quotes like O'Neil.... and when using $_POST to get the keyword, my word appears as O\'Neil.... hw do i get just O'Neil instead of O\'Neil?
