Apach2 Problem

Hi,
I have installed Apache2 with PHP4. to test the php page . i have placed the phpinfo() test file in /wwwroot/htdocs/.i am unable to access this file from my web page. In my log files showing error as file does not exist. So i have created directory also. even that also saying file does not exist. what might be the reason exactly.
kindly help me.

It's a little bit hard to figure out where the problem might be. How did you install php? Can you post the httpd.conf ?

Did you check the web server user has permissions to the directory and file?

P.S. - Help people help you... post log and conf file extracts. The exact error msg would help too :-)
