Option box for time info

I found some code that uses a dropdown to select the minutes.

<td><select name="minute"><option value="0"00">00</option><option value="1"01">01</option>

I included a couple of option lines.

Why do the values= have the numbers repeated?

ie value="0"00"
value="1"01"

etc.
Which is the value 1 or 01?

where are you getting these option boxes from, are they dynamic from a database or something

Here is the loop to generate the minutes:

?>

i cut and pasted your code and it comes out like this for me

<option value="0">00</option>

all the way to

<option value="59">59</option>
