Does anyone know how to make a script that will execute itself without being called upon by the browser (like going to the URL of the page or reffering to it at all...)...so it kinda does it by itself.
I just have an interest script I plan on incorporating into my system, yet I don't want to have it be called upon in a script that users access...because if a person doesn't visit the site that day, no interest is added...and kinda makes it gay...lol
I've heard people talking about "CRON" or whatever...yet I have no idea what it is or how to make it auto-execute files at a specific time.
Could someone help me??
