Actually, I don't know how to input a code into our browzer using the bar code scanner.

It was a joke on phrasing. You don't write a program with a barcode scanner, but you might write a program that uses one. 🙂

This all depends--how are you getting the data? If it's through a COM or serial port, sure. You just have to know how to read the data from it. (I doubt anyone on this forum's going to know for your exact scanner.)

barcode scanner, javascript, php...
if they can work... i want to know also..

PHP would be able to do it, since it can read and write to the COM, serial, and printer ports. Javascript cannot, however, since it only has limited functionality compared to programatic applications.

But one question I want to ask. If javascript can't do that, can I read the bar code in client- side, and submit the code to server ? 😕
